Appointments: Who's Climbing Up the Corporate Ladder

promoted several persons in its Atlanta headquarters. Among those promoted to senior associate
were:

Lilicia Bailey has been promoted to senior vice president, chief people officer of
people strategies/human resources at
Manheim. In addition to the responsibilities of her most recent role, she
will identify strategic opportunities that enhance organizational effectiveness and provide
oversight to implement innovative people programs, processes and initiatives to position employees
and Manheim for continued success.
Lilicia Bailey
Lee Hecht Harrison (LHH) in Atlanta recently hired Maureen Flanigan as vice president, business development, where she will be responsible for building new strategic relationships with metro Atlanta organizations. Flanigan serves on numerous committees and leadership boards including: SHRM, International Customer Service Association, Help Desk Institute, and the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals.

The Public Relations Society of America/Georgia awarded Bari Love its Radiant Star award, which recognizes an individual with more than twenty years of experience. In addition, PRSA/Georgia named Carrie England its Shining Star, which recognizes an individual with six to twelve years experience. In selecting these winners, the PRSA|GA chapter sought individuals who have demonstrated leadership, chapter involvement, and community activities. Both work for Jackson Spalding, the Atlanta-based image creation, cultivation, and communication firm.
Bari Love
The accounting and consulting firm of Babush, Neiman, Kornman & Johnson, LLP (BNKJ) added Melissa "Missy" Herbert as a partner. She brings twelve years of employee benefit plan audit and consulting experience to the firm, serving both public and private companies with plans ranging in size from 100-300,000 participants and assets ranging from $1 million to $10 million.
Prior to joining BNKJ, she was a principal at Frazier & Deeter and before that a director at Deloitte & Touche. Herbert earned her bachelors of science degree in accounting at the University of New Orleans, and is a certified public accountant.
W Hotels Worldwide announced the appointment of several seasoned hospitality veterans to the executive committee of W Atlanta-Downtown. Susan Deluzain Barry has been named director of sales and marketing along with Jaly Bekele as the director of talent resources and Maguy Larochelle as the director of revenue management.
Barry comes to W Atlanta-Downtown from The Westin Arlington Gateway and Bekele joins from W Atlanta-Perimeter where she managed all of the human resource initiatives and was awarded "Manager of the Year" in 2007.
Newcomb & Boyd, a multidiscipline consulting and engineering firm, announced that Lynda B. Herrig, PE, LEED AP, and Julia C. Neville, LC, LEED AP, have been named senior associates. Elisha A. Gray, RCDD, CTS, has been named an associate.

Mylin Torres, MD, has joined the Emory University School of Medicine Department of Radiation Oncology as assistant professor specializing in the treatment of breast cancer.
Torres' research interests have included breast cancer treatment techniques and clinical trial development, novel radio-sensitizing agents, the management of patients receiving concurrent radiation and chemotherapy for cervical cancer, and patient-related outcomes measures.
She is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, the Radiologic Society of North America, the American Association for Women Radiologists, and the American Brachytherapy Society. Torres graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned her medical degree from Stanford University. She completed her training in radiation oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Adriana Midence Tawanna Robinson
Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp & Wilson, LLP, announced that Adriana Midence has joined as an associate. She received her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan and her law degree from Emory University School of Law. Tawanna Robinson has been named assistant vice president of The Buckhead Community Bank.
